M. A. S. S. Spring Meeting

This event takes place during the third week in May and follows a similar format to the Mid-winter meeting including a keynote address and an interactive panel. The topic and the discussion provide important guidance for superintendents as they conclude the current academic year and plan for their summer leadership retreats.

The luncheon speaker is traditionally the Commissioner of Education with remarks from the outgoing and incoming Presidents of the Association. The highlight of the event is the presentation the President’s Award and Distinguished Service Awards  and service awards to members who have completed ten, fifteen, twenty and twenty-five years of service and the presentation of gifts of appreciation to those members who are retiring.
