Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents (M.A.S.S.) superintendents Tim Piwowar, Billerica Public Schools and M.A.S.S. President, Dianne Kelly, Revere Public Schools and M.A.S.S. President-Elect, and Patrick Tutwiler, Lynn Public Schools and M.A.S.S Vice President-Elect, presented to the Masssachusetts Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BOE) on April 26. Their remarks were a reflection of the opportunities and challenges our school districts face as we emerge from 2 years of the pandemic. Equity, mental health, workforce pipeline issues and the disruptive climate in many of our communities were primary topics presented and discussed with BOE members.
