The M.A.S.S Global Studies Group gathered on Friday March 1st at Massachusetts International Academy for the fifth meeting of the 2018-2019 school year. The group met with Casey Cullen a teacher in the Westboro Public Schools and Past President of the Civics Project Trust Fund. Casey updated the group on the progress of the new Civics standards. The group reviewed the plans for the fall 2019 trip to Vancouver where they will visit schools and the Canadian Ministry of Education. The session concluded with a very thoughtful discussion about the article Equity Literacy for All by Paul Gorski and Katy Swalwell.
